Dual revelations about Jack Smith’s probe into the mishandling of records at Mar-a-Lago suggest the special counsel’s probe into former President Trump is advancing on several fronts, bolstering the case against him.
Reporting from CNN this week indicates authorities have a recording of Trump discussing his inability to share the contents of a classified document he retained — undercutting his long-standing claim he declassified the records in his possession...
The week was capped with a report from lawyers and former prosecutors who concluded, based on public reporting, that the DOJ has enough evidence in the case to merit charging Trump directly.
“The Department’s own precedent makes clear that charging Trump would be to treat him comparably to others who engaged in similar criminal behavior, often with far fewer aggravating factors than the former president. Based on the publicly available information to date, a powerful case exists for charging Trump,” the group wrote in a model prosecution memo published by Just Security.
“We conclude that Trump should — and likely will — be charged.”

I think they, the D’s & Media, prefer him to be the GOP candidate and lose the General Election and go for prison after that with trial delayed during election season. If they think he will lose the Primary they will go full steam ahead for prison instead sooner than later. Either way they want him in prison. Ultimate goal. For sure.
I don’t think that many will take the risk to go fight a Civil War for Trump.
Because they know he’s the clear leader/winner.

I think that the Rats love power even more than they hate Trump. And if they lose in 2024 to some other Republican, pardoning Trump of federal charges will be job #1 for the new Republican President. The NYC case is a legal joke, but the federal case is not.

The commie-crats keep forgetting to mention as president Trump had ultimate declassification authority - all the materials that are classified by the executive branch are product for the president. And that scum commie-crat judge in DC, during the Bill Clinton trial over classified documents, made that crystal clear. They can’t second-guess the president.

A president can’t mishandle classified information since he can just declassify it.
The Army and the Marine Corps are not 50-70 days away, needing to cross a stormy ocean in wooden sailing ships.
The American Civil War was possible because the seceding states caused a division in the chain of command and allowed the creation of two armies.
Absent that, you won't have a civil war, just a bloodbath.
