I don’t believe Lowry has it right. The word woke was not “taken over by conservatives,” it was becoming used by the left to describe themselves, and as such, being “woke” was considered a virtue. Still is.
Its their term. Why would we use it, too.
We should call em what they are - communists & totalitarians.
