Or how about discuss your differences with neighbors civilly and without resorting to violence, whether firearms, knives, fists or baseball bats. If you can’t manage to do that, have a wiser neighbor mediate.
Arabs do that. They bring disputes to the local mukhtar, and over a Turkish water pipe not necessarily filled with tobacco, and some strong Turkish coffee the grounds of which have to settle in the cup, tempers cool and sometimes, after a lengthy conference, the disputants leave as friends. Other times, one of them turns up dead in an alleyway and it goes on and on like the Hatfields and the McCoys.
“different story if the door was open,”
Even if they were trying to kick in the door... You are the guilty party if you discharge before they do actually break and enter through that door. Then you have an undeniable justifiable reason for self defense.
No good people protested when this happened:
“Cannon Blake Hinnant was a five-year-old American boy from Wilson, North Carolina who was shot and killed on August 9, 2020, while playing in his neighbor’s yard. Hinnant’s neighbor, Darius Sessoms, was arrested for the shooting within 24 hours.” Boy was white, alleged killer was not.
In all, eight people face charges in several home invasions, including the shooting of a man in his Henderson home and the kidnapping of the couple in their own home, the 8 News Now Investigators have learned.
My advise is don’t go beating on your enemy neighbors’ door - it doesn’t matter the justification, you may well end up dead.
—agree completely, but it was suggested as a technique by the present occupant of the White House—
Its a pity, but Americans are no longer part of civilization.
Let’s not forget these two people....

Allegedly threw roller skate... from personal experience, black people make stuff up and lie like no others. Maybe she did, maybe she didn’t. In any case, a sad ending for both families.
Looks like a barefoot print on the door. They could’ve talked through the door. Bad choices on both sides. How does this not qualify as stand your ground, though? The victim could’ve had a weapon for all the homeowner knew, and she had her child to protect, as well as herself.
Really? So if this broad punches in the windows on the door and tries the handle, it’s ok? If she tries shouldering or kicking the door in, she’s not a threat?
In this case, Ms. Lorincz appears to have been the primitive. I hope she gets life.
That five-year-old white boy shot by his black neighbor in Kentucky during the Floyd riots, for riding his bike on his neighbor’s grass, likewise was killed by a primitive.
Primitive is a state of mind, not a skin color.
Ever hear of the wild west? Civilizations periodically have psychotic episodes.
Primitive is a state of mind, not a skin color.
Ditto.
“The victim could’ve had a weapon for all the homeowner knew.”
Before you pull a trigger you better be absolutely sure without question... Period.
LOL you don’t even know the context yet ... you only know what the reporter told you ...
My thoughts exactly.
Nope, legally technically not until she actually breaks and “enters”. Until then she is not an “immediate and eminent physical threat”, there is still a physical barrier between you... Technically you almost have to let them get their hands on you before you can defend yourself.
Not in Florida. We have a “Stand Your Ground” law and the “Castle Doctrine”.
Here’s the subsection of the statute.
“A person who unlawfully and by force enters or attempts to enter a person’s dwelling, residence, or occupied vehicle is presumed to be doing so with the intent to commit an unlawful act involving force or violence.”
The Mom was attempting to enter her dwelling by force. The shooter will walk if the Jury does the right thing.
We will see... Doesn’t matter what the law says. If she is tried in liberal court she is going down. And it will be because she shot through a closed door. Had she not shot through a closed door she had a good chance of beating it even in a liberal court.
