WASHINGTON — Former Trump White House official Steve Bannon has been subpoenaed by a federal grand jury in Washington, D.C., in connection with special counsel Jack Smith's investigation into Jan. 6 and former President Donald Trump's efforts to stay in office, according to two sources familiar with the matter.

The subpoena, for documents and testimony, was sent out in late May, the sources said. The grand jury investigating Trump's actions surrounding Jan. 6 and in connection with efforts to interfere with the peaceful transfer of power is separate from the grand jury in Miami that heard testimony on Wednesday about Trump's handling of classified documents.

A spokesman for the special counsel declined to comment. Bannon's attorney Harlan Protass declined to comment.

Nick, watch Bannon’s show sometime. Bannon is a Trump supporter and he has guests from Trump’s administration all the time. As for the reason Bannon was fired, I don’t recall hear Bannon or Trump give a reason. I wouldn’t trust anything said in the mainstream media in regards to his firing.

"Why would be described as a Trump ally? Trump kicked him to the curb long ago."

Bullshit. And you ought to be ashamed of yourself, douchebag. Bannon left because he had FU money and didn't need the hassle of dealing with John Kelly, and knew he could do more for nationalism outside The White House.

"Stephen K. Bannon, the president’s chief strategist and one of his most controversial advisers, is exiting the Trump administration after a tumultuous seven-month stint. The White House released a statement Friday saying that Bannon and White House chief of staff John Kelly had “mutually agreed” that this would be Bannon’s last day in his job."

Jack Smith is going on a subpoena crusade. He sent out subpoenas for around 20 of Trump’s secret service today I believe. Now Bannon!

According to Epoch Times, Robbie Mook said Hillary OK’d the Trump Collusion fake probe, costing taxpayers a lot of money. He did it to save his worthless butt in the Sussman trial.

Maybe Smith’s Grand Jury should subpoena the Hillary, Obama, and Biden gangs for starters.

Bannon was already subpoenaed by Congress during their January 6th Select Committee investigation. He refused to appear, was held in contempt, referred to the DOJ... Indicted by them and found guilty. So why the rinse and repeat horseshit with the Special Counsel? The House Select Committee investigation on the January 6th events was held from 2021 to January 2023.

Since no crimes were found during the impeachment or the January 6th hearings were found to refer criminal charges on Trump to the DOJ, why a third investigation? This is triple indemnity as far as I'm concerned. How many times do you need to investigate a speech?

Well, at least four or five times given that Trump explicitly stated in his speech to be peaceful. I mean, it doesn’t get anymore damning than that. That kind of peaceful talk is so dangerous that even the news media won’t show it. Words are violence after all.

They probably found a comma missing on his tax returns and are calling him to tell him how many prison years they are seeking for his comma prosecution if he doesn’t testify against Trump.

I seem to remember that Steve Bannon left the White House because he thought he could do better as a Trump advocate outside the White House because of all the propaganda being used against the president. I could be wrong about that but that’s what I remember.

Really? “Mr Bannon...we have credible info suggesting that you’re in violation of (fill in name of law here) which carries a sentence of 15 years on each count”.
