The Ukrainian government has hit back at Tucker Carlson after the former Fox News host said a "fair person would conclude" Kyiv blew up the Nova Kakhovka dam in southern Ukraine, which collapsed on Tuesday causing widespread flooding.
Ukraine's Centre for Strategic Communication and Information Security (CSCIS), a government agency, hit back at Carlson in a Twitter thread on Thursday.
The body posted a screenshot from Carlson's former Fox News show, edited to include a photo of Vladimir Putin and the strapline "agent of Putin."
They added the clown face emoji, then said: "Tucker Carlson, a TV presenter who was fired from Fox News, 'explains' why Ukraine blew up the Kakhovka HPP. Let's break down his arguments."
The CSCIS also accused Carlson of using edited video of Lindsey Graham's meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv, which appeared to show the South Carolina senator saying: "This is the best thing we've ever spent money on," immediately after saying "Russians are dying."

I don’t know who blew up the dam and neither does Tucker.
However, he has every right to question the same people who told us Trump was a Russian stooge, the laptop was Russian disinformation, and who refuse to account for the tens of billions in cash and weapons we have given them.
PS - he is 100% spot-on about Lindsey Graham. That man needs to go and if we lose the seat so be it. He constantly wants to send your kids and mine to die in some foreign land.
Great. First the Russkis were after Carlson and now it’s the Nazis. Tucker needs to stop flying over the targets so much. When the Ukrainian bass turds start attacking American citizens, it’s time for FJB to knock it off with sending the Nazi bass turds billions of taxpayer dollars.
Smart move by the Ukrainians. /s Zelensky is arguably the most successful grifter in the world today. When he gets thrown under the bus, he will still have $Billions stashed away to live the high life at US taxpayer expense. Attacking Carlson who has far more credibility is a self-inflicted wound.
Its the "either you are with us or against us" mentality. Stray from their narrative and you are with the enemy. It is understandable in war I suppose but still regrettable.

Ukraine cannot be taken seriously when they make ad hominem attacks about people expressing their opinions, nor when they tightly control their own media. There is no free press in Ukraine. CSCIS sounds as mature as the extreme minority of Freepers whose only argument is accusing others of being supporters of Putin. To this day, none of them can articulate a single national interest in Ukraine. No average hardworking American benefits from this war, win, lose or draw. On the other hand, the Biden Crime Family and the military industrial complex does.

Correct. BTW, Tucker did not accuse Ukraine of destroying the dam. He only commented on the reasons that it made no sense for the Russians to destroy the dam.

Given that the Soviets control the dam and the area around it then either they placed the demolition charges or else they’re so incompetent/corrupt that they let Ukrainian engineers into the site with several tons of explosives and then gave them a few days to place them.
