The finding, released Tuesday by the CDC’s National Center for Health Statistics, suggests that mental health disorders – such as attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder or anxiety – are common among school-age children.

The data showed that in 2021, 14.9% of children ages 5 to 17 had received treatment for their mental health, including 8.2% who had taken medications and 11.5% who received counseling or therapy from a mental health professional.

I know people that have diagnosed medical exemptions for coming into the office because it induces anxiety attacks on them? For going into an office!?

I’m fine and well with short term conditions. If you’ve been on this earth any time you know we all go through some off times in our lives. Its important to identify these issues so you can recognize it and remove all denial. But after that is established it should be your long term goal to work through it and be convinced it doesnt have to be part of your normal life. These idiot doctors out there want these things to be your identity. They want it to be part of you so that you will forever believe you need their help or treatment to feel better.

Some conditions are unfortunately permanent. But I’ve seen scores work through trauma, depression, anxiety, pain, allergies, even diagnosed illnesses when they refuse to make it their identity. But there’s no money in that so society will never tell you.
