Why is this news?
Yes. This is a textbook RICO case. Extortion (pay to play) being used to benefit the criminal enterprise (the entire Biden family). I’ve tried civil RICO cases before, and this one appears to be even easier than any I have ever handled.
The FBI did not provide a fully redacted form to Grassley, despite the form not being confidential. The FBI did not give Congress possession of the form. The American people will not see the form.
The FBI required members of Congress to view the form in a SCIF even though the form is not confidential. They were unable to take notes or images while in the SCIF. When new pieces of information are obtained from other sources and need to be analyzed with the form, congressmen have to make arrangements and go back to the SCIF without any notes or papers to view the form. That is all designed to SLOW everything down and to introduce factual errors into the process.
The FBI did not fully comply with the subpoena. Congress does not have possession of the form. These piece of chit Assistant Democrats do not have the testicular fortitude to hold Wray in contempt of Congress . They are feckless and actionless. All they do is feed simpletons a little information to keep their anger level high. These lazy ass career politicians do not want hard evidence - the actual form - to be available for the media, their so-called opponents, and the American public to see.
Nothing will come of this. It’s all kabuki theater.

a lotta people on the forum have expressed worries about the statutes running on these crimes, but if they could all be wrapped up in a RICO case, then the statutes keep rolling along with new criminal actions of the enterprise (the entire biden family + clinton family + hussein & big mike)?

Correct, if the predicate crimes are ongoing. If they are not ongoing, Federal Criminal RICO has a 5 yr statute of limitations (”SoL”). However, if the predicate crimes were intentionally hidden, then the court will allow “equitable tolling”, which then makes the SoL begin only after the crimes have been discovered. Federal Civil RICO is the same but the SoL is only 4 years.
