WE aren’t fooled by it, but so many are. The tactic won’t fail; it works almost every time.

I think Maddow had it right. They don’t necessarily want to convict him of anything. They want to get close enough that he’ll take the deal and agree to step down to avoid conviction.

Then, if he does, they’ll still assassinate him. He’s too effective, whether in the White House or not.

I get your point about age, but the fact is a 45-year-old facing the charges Trump is would also be looking at dying in prison. They are out to get him and as they keep piling on the charges, the odds are they’re going to be successful one place or another. Any objections will be considered ‘insurrection’ and will be punished accordingly.

I don’t see this ending well.
