Is this because of DeSantis’ record as governor of Florida, or because of the anti-DeSantis commercials on TV? IMHO it's because a lot of women, especially Republican women, like a man with real bravado. A huge part of Trump's presentation is that he's a real man who kicks butt then takes names. Even if DeSantis is as unwavering as Trump is, DeSantis doesn't exude that as much as Trump does.
