Mayor James Paunovich, DEMOCRAT. Although you have to do an extensive search as search engines have hidden his affiliation.

Probably legal in your area...

I believe my own somewhat rural small township and others nearby have similar laws though you prob have to be an egregious and repeat offender to trigger fines or civil impoundment. I think it’s so people dont accumulate 45 inoperable unlicensed vehicles on their property as an eyesore and leaking fluids into the groundwater. Cities are a little different circumstance but same principle I guess. Property ownership has limitations on what you may do with it even outside of HOAs.

Watch the entire video. They can confiscate vehicles in your garage unseen to others including project cars or any vehicle they deem “inoperable.”

28. Any partly dismantled, wrecked, dilapidated, abandoned or non-operative automobile or other motor vehicle or parts thereof which are found upon any private property, and which are not housed in a garage, basement or other enclosed building.

Don’t let the junkers sit in the tall weeds in your front yard. It’s not too unreasonable or uncommon.

I frequently drive by a house on a main road in my area, and they have five vehicles in the front yard, and at least one of them is immobile. I think it started after it became a rental property.

Since the traitorous Demonicrats have proclaimed, “All your children are belong to us,” it is no surprise that they now starting to claim, “All your private property are belong to us.”

... abandoned ...

Anything could be deemed abandoned, including a perfectly good car with a lapsed registration.

Thanks. That’s clearly NOT the intent of the people who allow their local government to perform certain regulatory duties to prevent chaos. But people are complacent, myself included at times. I think the luxury of being complacent in this context is no longer a luxury we can afford as a free people.

Autos die and become inoperabe. The owners lack the wherewithal to deal with them. The owners can’t get rid of them because they have no means to do so

The vehicles are in essence weeds

I don’t the Democrats claiming to own my kids, otherwise I wouldn’t subject my kids to public schooling. But when the Democrats are claiming to OWN MY CARS, those are fighting words, and they better not try anything cute with my cars.

In most places you can sell them to scrap metal places who will gladly come and tow them away.

With the price of metal skyrocketing, and as an example, we live in a rural, tucked away area, we literally have people trolling the area asking if they can take your vehicle for $X.

I sure wish they would focus on them parked on public property and the streets around the Reno area. Public property.

Don't. Ever.

I wouldn't let the local school district get their grubby mitts on my kids for love or money. Fortunately my youngest just had her homeschool graduation last weekend.

I would not mind seeing some of this reasonableness reasonably enforced around here. Two neighbors have junkyards at their houses. When you come across the top of the mountain end of the county you were greeted by front yards full of junk vehicles they have sat there for decades I could make a good living for quite a while just hauling junk out of front yards for scrap metal

Salvage yards will pick them up for scrap-—but need titles.
