A British mom of three was sentenced to more than two years in prison for aborting a baby while about eight months pregnant.
Carla Foster, 44, was terrified her estranged partner would find out she became pregnant while seeing two other men in late 2019, according to a court report by StokeOnTrentLive.
She repeatedly lied to get abortion pills that were only available online due to loosened restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic, Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court was told.

She murdered an 8 month old baby and gets two years in prison. She should get life in prison as a minimum.
Well, it would have been not only permitted, but probably very much celebrated in California.

I didn’t know the particulars but I’d heard our laws were considerably more radical than Europe’s. I think using the pill here at full term is probably also illegal, but I can only imagine that the media would paint her as a sympathetic figure, driven by desperation etc etc. I don’t thin imprisoning her would be politically feasible here

I didn’t know that either. The main “beneficiaries” of abortion are men. I remember hearing a guy boastng that he was so generous he had even paid for his girlfriend’s abortion.
At 8 months I don’t think this can be considered an abortion but rather outright no argument infanticide.
Nope. For the most part laws on abortion are stricter.
Definitely infanticide and obviously she didn’t conceal anything as intended if she ended up in jail.
Ever notice they never have photos online of what an abortion does to a baby? If you ever put that up they rip it right down and yell, ‘I don’t want to see that’.
But they show all sorts of other things online.
12 weeks would be a fairly typical European limit, later if the child has some defect.
