I have no idea how you believe you can tie DeSantis to those policy ideals. He’s been an outspoken leader on securing the border, even sending Florida state troopers to Texas to help, and has made actually building a southern border wall one of his main 2024 campaign planks. Most recently he said he would declare the border a national emergency, and defend the it with deadly force.
He’s also enacted some of the toughest immigrant labor laws, including recently taking their drivers licenses away, and made growing new businesses in state verses abroad one of his major priorities.
