I always thought “standing room” only was good. The picture shows a good turn-out for the room. It could have been a bigger room, I suppose. It’s not like anyone fills a football stadium. Much to do about nothing, IMO. Petty stuff undermines FreeRepublic.

I was at a “standing room only” event for Romney in 2012.
There was plenty of room but they placed barricades to make it appear it was “standing room only”

That one event taught me more about the GOP than 10 years on FR.

I saw a Romney rally from my old home in St. Petersburg that was like that.

I am skeptical that big rallies mean anything. George McGovern had MASSIVE rallies, way larger than Nixon and we saw how that turned out. Not that I would have wanted McGovern or anything, hell no!
