Pedro Gonzalez, a rising conservative influencer and politics editor of Chronicles magazine, regularly in 2019 and 2020 sent racist and antisemitic messages, Breitbart News can reveal after reviewing months’ worth of his private messages.
More recently, Gonzalez has become perhaps most well-known as one of the most active and strident pro-Florida Gov. Ron Desantis influencers on Twitter.
Gonzalez responded to the Breitbart News investigation after this article was published by claiming he is a target of Trump and that is why these messages became public.
The DeSantis campaign–and DeSantis himself–remain silent at this moment. The pro-DeSantis Super PAC, Never Back Down, however, called Gonzalez’s statements as exposed in this article “inexcusable” and made clear that Never Back Down has no relationship with him.

This meeting was all kayne west's doing, and Trump had no prior knowledge about it.
Here, there appears to be someone who puts out pro desantis social media post, that the desantis campaign won't disavow or comment on.
Furthermore, it appears this pedro gonzalez guy is getting lots of support from other pro desantis supporters, according to his message, posted in the breitbart article.
So, what kind of stuff has he been doing for the desantis campaign?

And, why is this social media stuff important?
It’s because most younger teens to 30’s or even 40 year olds seem to get all their news and information from social media.
And, if you continue to read the breitbart article, you’ll see there’s some kind of coordination between the desantis campaign, and this gonzalez guy.
So, while team desantis has had this guy doing the dirty work to try to take down Trump,. they don’t seem to care about their influencer’s past....

Figures many of the desantis supporters here likely don’t think it’s a problem.
But strangely enough, desantis went to Israel, and signed an antisemitism bill there, that also cracked down on hate speech....
But the desantis supporters here, like Drew68 just showed, are fine with antisemitism from someone supporting and likely working for desantis and his campaign.
It could be a plant and a long-termed plot in which a trap is set to embroil DeSantis in turmoil.
This is a classic democrat tactic. It’s much like Patriot Front members or other such groups showing up at conservative rallies and pretending they are big supporters of the candidate while spouting awful racist chants. Think of the Lincoln Project incident when they had their people appear at a Youngkin event with Tiki-Torches, etc.
The democrats will send people to follow candidates on social media and make awful comments which escalate further each day. The media can then point to the fact the follower had been posting there daily for weeks without any criticism of their comments. It doesn’t matter that the candidate never saw them nor ever agreed with the comments.
Meanwhile, once someone lets the the media (conveniently) know of such postings, they begin demanding the candidate disavow the comments or actions. The candidate is madly scrambling to find out who the miscreants were and why they were at the event while trying to respond to the media’s inquiries.
I’m not saying this is what happened in this instance, but I’m always wary of this type of “gotcha” when it comes to political campaigns. Social media just makes it easier to do.

Strangely, desantis seemed to think it was important enough to go to Israel to make a statement about it.
But, as you appear to be a desantis supporter, it should not be a surprise you are okay with racist and antisemitic comments too, as gonzalez says his support states.

Tasteless, yes, but I'm not going to pretend to be deeply offended and run for my fainting couch over it as so many here and on the other thread are.
It was distasteful but his sentiments on the majority of American Jews as a whole being extremely liberal rings true.
Most disappointing is that this hit piece was commissioned by Breitbart and they are now getting dragged pretty hard by right-leaning social media over it.
How about discussing if desantis is a hypocrite for having signed a bill on hate crime and antisemitism in Israel...
But having someone on his campaign as a social media influencer, who has an extensive history of antisemitic tweets?
