The other part of this argument is the “refuse to serve” part. These cases are not about someone who took items off a shelf, went to the checkout line and the business owner refused to take their cash for goods available to anyone. Insted this was an attempt to force someone to create something - an act of speech - to express something they found abhorrent.

If I were to walk into a black owned, web designing business site, dressed in my very best klan suit and asked to have a Klan website be created and the black owner refused .. would that be met with the same furor?🤔
