Animals’ throats are slit all over the world, and it has always been done by every religion. People eat animals, including probably you. (And there are people who believe that any slaughter of animals for food is ‘barbaric’.)

I don’t agree with housing them this way; but that is what’s wrong here, not the killing of a lamb for a feast.

I think this thread should be killed. It’s only meant to be incendiary.

Incendiary? No that's what is going on all over France in the past couple of days.

If you find that objectionable, maybe you should just avoid the news from France, or maybe you could actually do something like help them put the fires out.

Furthermore, I find your comment. "I think this thread should be killed. It’s only meant to be incendiary" full of violent rhetoric. Maybe you should self report yourself to the mods and put yourself in timeout from FR for a couple of months.

I’ve known Muslims. They kill it to eat it. They have a big feast, a huge party.

(I suggest you forego your turkey on Thanksgiving. It’s probably killed the same way, and housed in similar circumstances.)
