Vietnam has banned Warner Bros.’ highly anticipated film “Barbie” from domestic distribution over a scene featuring a map that shows China’s unilaterally claimed territory in the South China Sea, state media reported on Monday. (Warner Bros’, like CNN, is a unit of Warner Bros. Discovery.)
The U-shaped “nine-dash line” is used on Chinese maps to illustrate its claims over vast areas of the South China Sea, including swathes of what Vietnam considers its continental shelf, where it has awarded oil concessions.
“Barbie” is the latest movie to be banned in Vietnam for depicting China’s controversial nine-dash line, which was repudiated in an international arbitration ruling by a court in The Hague in 2016. China refuses to recognize the ruling.

Interesting they are banning it due to a map which suggest Chinese sovereignty over certain areas.
Is the “Barbie” character an international diplomat, or someone for whom such a subject is of great interest?

I think that there are a couple of frames in the movie where we see that southern East Prussia is still listed as "under Polish administration" - so the Poles might object to that, too. And South Tyrol is labelled "under Italian administration," thus p*ssing off the government in Rome.

This is the first I’ve even heard of it and I have no desire to see it. 🤷🏻♀️

Am interested in seeing the Mission Impossible film. I’ve enjoyed them. Curious to see “Dial Of Destiny” for nostalgia though the reviews haven’t been great.

There is probably a whole army of act"resses" who are trans and it's not out yet, some they got on hormones very young. They're just in place for the right time for the astonishing revelation.
Just like the entertainment industry leaned towards gays for acting and music. Nope it's not because they "have more talent." There's lots of talent. The usurpers/arbiters of our society plan ahead according to their agenda and preferred gays to win idol status in the youths and then reveal are gays when the youths become adults. It has done wonders to promote the acceptance of faeggorty.

If they included other controversial cartography, the first suspicion should be it was simply an attempt to dilute the prominence of the big one for China.
