The issue is a loser for electing Republicans. It motivates the radical feminists like nothing else.

It was given BACK to the states. Every state had its own abortion law on the books. And at one time, EVERY STATE outlawed abortion.

Along come Roe v. Wade. The USSC should have never taken it up. It belonged to the states...and to the people....not 9 judges. And it's back to where it should be...governed by State Law.

It's dead as a Federal Law.

America’s future (values of life, liberty, and free pursuits) versus perceived personal political future - the source of constant GOP double-mindedness.

Let the states do their state business.

Republicans have thought that it was the duty of [feds]government to defend life and liberty, via the Declaration of Independence.

Murder is dealt with at the state level. Let it be dealt with at the state level.

The 13th-15th amendments were winning issues only given the premise that the States that the Republicans held could not leave the Union needed to be readmitted to the Union and ratifying these amendments could be made a condition for re-admission.

Talk about separate and unequal.

GOPe has been unprincipled from the beginning.

No, and no again. It is a State Issue.

Note who is suggesting this -Tim Scott and Pence. Remember who unhelpfully suggested it last time? Miss Graham. All establishment types. Now, I don’t think they are intentionally sabotaging Republicans, but I do think they are being advised by people who are and they are too clueless to get it.

And it should be left that way. It is a losing issue for Republicans, which is why they probably keep bringing it up.

Not a federal responsibility. The matter, for good or ill, belongs to the states.

The GOP-e loves to emphasize social issues.

It keeps the base from noticing how US politicians are selling out to the WEF and the New World Order.

This liberal 15-week abortion law should not be imposed on states.

Emmanuel Macron changed France’s abortion law from 12 to 14 weeks proclaiming he was protecting a woman’s right to choose.

It’s like the GOP disapproves of what a majority of the US Supreme Court allowed last year.

A 15-week abortion law is a liberal abortion law.

It is sad for them

This turns the issue from always supporting life, to at what time will we no longer allow murder.

The moral opposition to preborn murder is lost entirely. It is reduced to a question of when we will stop murdering.

They are no longer any better than democrats. All that differs is the timing.

But the GOP seems to really want to return this to the hands of the federal government. I do not know why. I don’t see it as a good idea at all.

They'd rather have the minority party Democrats running things all over the country.

Sounds like Tim scott hasn’t read the constitution. Which enumerated power does this fall under? And Federalizing it will definitely cause Trump to lose PA by 8 points. It’s his anti abortion court.

The eventual goal should be a ban on abortions. But the timing is not right yet, it will not pass plus even if it does it can be reversed easily.
We should advocate for the prolife position in our culture, and pass state laws in states where people are strongly prolife.

We’ll get there eventually.

Technically it was legislation passed by SCOTUS. There are literally thousands of such cases.
