Galei Tzahal - Israel Army Radio reported this morning (Sunday) that an unusual incident happened last week in the Manara area on the Lebanese border when dozens of armed men, most of them soldiers from the Lebanese army, along with a number of Hezbollah terrorists crossed the border into Israeli territory.
According to the report, the incident happened last Wednesday, while the IDF was carrying out work in the Ramim Ridge area. The Lebanese soldiers who crossed the border were armed and in uniform.
The IDF preferred to act cautiously, avoided using means to disperse demonstrations, and tried to resolve the incident through liaison channels with the UNIFIL - an international form patrolling the border.
Only twenty minutes later, during which the Lebanese remained in Israeli territory and refused to evacuate - the incident was resolved, and the troops returned to Lebanon.
The unusual incident joins a series of others on the Lebanese border in recent months, including a Hezbollah position that was established on Israeli territory on Har Dov - and has not yet been evacuated.

If that occurred here Biden would give them private jet flights to wherever they wanted to go.

no warning shots, just shoot them & pound them with artillery.
That’s a great idea. But while the enemy soldiers are preoccupied watching that, open up with machine guns from the right and left and flatten them. In football That’s called a “misdirection play”.
CC
No warning shot. Just annihilate them.
No, attack Bandar Shapur and end the charade by attacking the enemy and not the surrogate
Plus Obama phones, and welfare for life.
And pre-filled voter ballots.
Yes, that too.
The political condition in Lebanon is so grave, the possibility of creating a working government so remote, that the Shiite Hizbollah may be looking for a conflict with Israel to make Lebanese forget for a time its disastrous hold on the country.
Easy to say from the comfort of your home across two oceans. Lebanon is right near mine, and a war would be fought be the fuzzy faced kids I see at bus stops on my way to the main commercial strip. Babies, really. To be avoided if possible. But it may be impossible to avoid.
Hezbollah is Iran, not Lebanon
They’re in Lebanon, and have a choke hold on it.
I think Israel already knew something was going on, was tracking their movements and rather than shoot to kill, handled the issue diplomatically. However, in saying that, Israel also will evaluate the potential gaps and come up with a solution to ensure it doesn’t happen again.
I think by doing this, Israel actually set a trap and received some great intelligence from it.

Considering that Neocons have all but given up on Ukraine (just going through the motions now), perhaps the Neocons have also given up on China (understandable, since when they simmed a Taiwan war, the 7th Fleet didn’t do well against the incoming 24 Hypersonics), so now the Neocons are back to their old standby, that being the Middle East.
I don’t know if you are trying to be funny, but Hizbollah was created in Lebanon in 1988 (and its antecedents existed before that). Certainly, Hizbollah has been funded by Iran, but its personnel is Lebanese.
They will leave because they want to.
bert’s not being funny. He’s pointing out that Hezbollah is a wholly owned subsidiarity of Iran. Yes, the members are Lebanese, but it’s an extension of Iran.
