Wait, the campaign that has Lindsay Graham on it’s SC campaign leadership team is calling someone else “weak-kneed and lily-livered”! Team Trump is making Democrap projection look amateurish with these stupid remarks.

Stuff that works in, and for, Iowa doesn’t necessarily work for the rest of America. It’s a sometimes frustrating but necessary part of the Republic.
Iowa is big into corn and big agriculture. Those politics support arguably non-conservative interests like things like factory farming, commercial meat processinf, glyphosphates, ethanol, seed oils, and processed foods. They’re also a lot more pro-migrant labor than the average R voter.
If Iowa didn’t have the primary position that it does, ethanol subsidies would have probably been at least discussed honestly by national candidates.
