I thought he was. The piece was written under his name. I just assumed he was still alive. Thanks

Saw it today. Agree with you. especially about the warm theater. It was like they just turned the AC off after 30 minutes of previews.
San Antonio the theater only had about 10 viewers for the matinee.

Finally saw it tonight. Previous 2 weekends sold out. 7:30 tonight 10 empty seats of about 180.
It was slow, too slow to suit me. Still photos that seemed to have no relationship to the story, especially early in the film.
My wife said it needed better lighting. But she liked that it had a lot of Spanish.
The audience was overwhelmingly female, 10 to 35. Very few over 35 in the theater. (My wife and I, being elderly were the odd balls there.)

George Carlin hated conservatives. He indirectly helped create this mess. He hated the elites when they were mostly considered conservative.
George Carlin was one of those people who was smart enough to see that there was a problem but not smart enough to identify the cause of the problem.

Wow! How many kiddie diddlers are in our cultural institutions, anyway?
One of the points that the film makes is that the trafficking of children can be more lucrative than selling drugs because, as they put it, you can only sell a bag of coke once, but you can sell a child 5 times a day for years. Now imagine the amount of influence that the Mexican cartels have as drug peddlers - they own Mexico and probably a significant portion of the US, which is to say, they own many politicians and other people of influence in the USA. That's with drug money, although they are, no doubt, knee-deep into human trafficking as well.
Imagine, however, that human trafficking, especially of children, is a far more lucrative endeavor than drugs, and then imagine the orders of magnitude more influence those same cartels can have with that massive increase in cash. That buys a lot of poo-pooing of movies like Sound of Freedom, as well as many other things.

The real-life hero of the movie said the movie was made years ago before QAnon was around and he said “What is QAnon anyway?”
I think I’ve seen reviews critical of the eternal youth blood thing from the kids as being too far out there. But it wasn’t too far out for the BBC to write an article in 2011 about trafficked children being tortured and bloodletted for black magic rituals.

my guess is they are up set that this movie does not have a child tweaking scene or that they are concern that tp much personal info will be seen by the public.

They’re the people boycotting America’s attack on human trafficking and abduction of America’s children to be used as sex objects for sick old business CEOs and politicians.

Took my daughter to see it last night. Theater was packed. Film was excellent and one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. I highly recommend it. Jim Caviezel’s message at the end of the credits was powerful.

We saw 'Sound of Freedom' a week ago here in The People's Republik of Connecticut. Went to a 3:30 pm movie in Manchester, CT -- the theater was packed. 95% of the audience stayed through the credits at the end of the movie and listened to Jim Caviezel's message. Enthusiastic applause at the end of the movie.
It's a movie you won't soon forget. A little rough around the edges here and there, but overall VERY good. Great soundtrack, too. Glad we supported this important film. We look forward to other movies from Angel Studios coming to theaters soon.

Saw it today. Agree with you. especially about the warm theater. It was like they just turned the AC off after 30 minutes of previews. That's interesting. My husband and I saw Sound of Freedom last Saturday afternoon in Manchester, CT. They did the very same thing - there seemed to be no air conditioning throughout most of the movie. AC was fine during about the first 30 minutes of the film. It seemed to be turned off until just about 30 minutes before the film ended.
What the.....???
