First, thanks for not trying to deny what’s going on at the Southern Border. As to the Teddy Bears, the problem is that he’s seen as welcoming people coming in through our backdoor, using loopholes in our laws (like claiming refugee status)...and the people down there see it.
Would have been much better to simply report on what’s going on, interview law enforcement, border guards (wearing masks, of course), etc - but not trying to mimic those hot German girls with the huge “WELCOME REFUGEES” sign at Berlin International (or wherever).
