Tucker is the new Glenn Beck. His head exploded with delusions of grandure and is now headed to nowhere land like Beck—yelling and trying to get attention.

--- "Tucker Carlson Hijacks Christian Right Confab in Iowa" says MSN.

Aw, geez. They actually CARE ABOUT the Christian Right. < sarc >

Tucker has far deeper understanding of the Conservative movement and DC than Beck ever did. Beck is a Mormon first and Conservative second.

The bile dripping off of the excerpt paragraphs says enough.

For that matter, the traditional culture-war concerns of the Christian Right got short shrift. Instead, designated candidate interviewer Tucker Carlson and his personal obsessions were the center of attention

This is inane. Carlson did a great job of actually and rigorously interviewing the candidates and letting us see what they really think about important issues. I realize media members have gotten used to the tongue-baths Democrat candidates receive from the press, both in the primaries and the general - that does not mean conservatives want the same fluff in their races.

Now that is really rich. MSN bemoaning that the evangelicals are not falling for the deception of the professed religious candidates and are instead rejecting them. Their dreams have been shattered, and only given the MSN leftists yet another thing to hate upon evangelicals even more.

I always value the opinions of folks who parrot whatever MSN is selling because they just... matter... so... much.

I get a kick out of watching leftists try to analyze right-wing politics. It’s like like watching a blind man try to describe the color blue.

Ya see, previously, the media would take out our best candidates, leaving only the easily-defeated pantywaists.

Tucker is taking out the pantywaists, leaving the best candidates.

They don’t like the competition.

The word is “grandeur”. And Tucker has done nothing to impair his popularity ala Glenn Beck’s “faceful of cheetos” flail.

The Leftists, particularly those in the media, must be SO PISSED OFF because they, no doubt, threw big parties celebrating Tucker’s firing from Fox.

...just to see Tucker now winnowing the field of candidates, possibly down to 2 of them, Trump and Vivek, and those two actually like each other.

Did you actually watch Carlson ask questions to Pious Pence, Tim Scott or the others? You seem to buy into the media portrayal of the event not what actually happened.

“Gov. Kim Reynolds signed into law a six-week abortion ban at one of Iowa’s largest gatherings of conservative Christians Friday, but issues of life and faith largely took a backseat in interviews with 2024 Republican presidential candidates. Former Fox News commentator Tucker Carlson grilled a half-dozen White House hopefuls on Russia’s war with Ukraine, immigration policy and election security — at times exposing the candidates as being out of step with many in the crowd who cheered on the former Fox News commentator’s tough questioning.”

Apparently, the media don’t like an interviewer who asks tough questions. According to this article Ramaswamy and De Santis benefited the most, with Haley behind them. Pence, Hutchinson, and Scott failed the Carlson examination.
