I remember watching the Sci-Fi series "Battlestar Galactica" decades ago. The leadership of the humans were pansies, not responsive to defending the human race, and downsizing the military. The robot Ceylons destroyed human bases and planets and eradicated the human military because of foolish human leaders. Total fantasy, could never happen, right?
Alas, it's happening right before our eyes to America. The pride of our military means something different than what existed in our past.
West Point’s Cadet Honor Code reads simply that:
“A cadet will not lie, cheat, steal, or tolerate those who do.”
(And then they graduate.)
