Some towns are making it.

San Francisco is as bad as it is, because nobody wants to
travel into a literal s-it storm to work.

The businesses there are being destroyed by city sanctioned
looting.

Everyone is fleeing the city, because it is melting down.

Look, I get the COVID-19 effect, but that is not what the
main problem with SF is.

Giuliani did a good job reversing NYC’s decline in the 80s. It can be done.

But the culture and urban conditions today are far worse than they were in the late 70s and the whole “defund the police” movement has destroyed civilization in so many cities there may be no way back.
