Seems lile someone is having a good time with "alleged". And confusing as well. Were the perps alleged burglar or alleged males. In any case two of them were allegedly shot. And, allegedly someone went to the hospital. Or something. Has the alleged home owner been arrested yet?

Given the ruckus was in Germantown, I am not having any trouble with a mental picture despite the quality of the reporting.

May be the only two felons arrested by the Philadelphia police this week. Highly doubtful that the DA will prosecute or a judge will imprison. That lady simply did what she had to do.

The article is very annoying with the “alleged” being used to protect the crooks. It does NOT use “alleged” before woman shoots two of them.
The woman did a good thing. But should have totally eliminated the threat, as she had full right to do.

Burglary of an occupied building (apartment) is justifiable for discharge of a firearm, especially if you feel threatened.
Four (4) 'perps' is sufficient and defines justification.
The fact that one of the 'perps' was shot in the back is NOT suitable for a "Stand your Ground" defense.
