“other services”

LOL

Ironically, having been one to lambast UPS for decades, in our area the service has improved dramatically the past 10 years.

In fact, UPS is the only one who can repetitively deliver our packages to our house (as opposed to USPS and FedEx who repetitively deliver to the wrong house).

I don’t have an opinion here other than to cite the poor effect of unionization on a company which pays drivers a reported $95k/year to deliver inconsistent/spotty/poor service and then threaten to tear down the whole game over a few bargaining points.

i.e., competition is a good thing, and I do not believe UPS is ‘too big to fail’...but I’m sure some would disagree.

I have no complaints about deliveries. That's like putting a square peg in a square hole. It's the service on the front end. I can go into the USPS or FedEx and be in and out with no hassle. Also USPS is cheaper. The USP Store sent me to USPS because USPS was cheaper. That USP store was originally one of the Postal Stores bought out by USP. It was subsequently closed. I suspect because you could no longer do USPS or FedEx out of the store so it lost customers. To use USP now, I have to drive 15 miles.

I send packages overseas routinely there is a huge difference in the cost and the service is the same. Once the package arrives in the country. It goes through customs and ends up being delivered by their postal system.
