“the early success of DeSantis’s campaign”

what the heck has this clown been smoking?

Florida Man never went anywhere, and is going further downhill from here.

Roll MAGA, roll!

I live in FLorida, and DeSantis was doing very well, even though Trump had been attacking him and insulting him from the very start, long before anybody had announced, as soon as Trump saw him as a potential rival.

He has genuinely conservative positions, he fights for them, and he has done very well here, especially for getting the schools out of the grip of the Dem teachers’ union and supporting the police. He gets along with his associates and respects them, so he actually has good allies.

He never responded to Trump’s insults and just ignored him, which is the best thing to do.

The truth is that the indictment was the best thing that ever happened to Trump, because suddenly everybody felt they had to support Trump. I happen to agree...we need to support Trump and fight for him and also encourage him to challenge the faux election that suddenly had Basement Biden with 81,000,000 votes. This is crucial to our system or it’s all over.

But we don’t need to make him president (he wouldn’t win anyway, except with his “base”) unless he at least has the courage to come out and debate the other candidates or speak to a hostile interviewer or audience.

He needs to offer his policies - not just slogans - and also needs to be honest about some things that he did as president...kowtowing to Fauci and Pence, the shut-down, the enforced vaccines, the appointment of numerous bad Swamp dwellers (such as Christopher Wray) to crucial posts, etc.

And he will have to answer the age question. If it’s valid for Biden, it’s valid for Trump. Particularly since we know that he would be exactly like Biden and the Dems in his VP pick...that is, somebody who would be totally useless but wouldn’t overshadow him. In other words, another Pence.

Although, sadly, he did end up needing a “real” VP because the loser Pence was not an ally, not only with the voting question but with the Covid situation.

It shows no respect for the voters to have Trump hiding out and flinging insults from afar, and I think his support is going to decline now that people have made a statement.

And I do think he should actually go after his legitimate claims and he would get all of America, not just his “base”, behind him while he fights this.
