KYIV, Ukraine (AP) – Russia launched an intense series of night-time air attacks sending drones and missiles toward places across Ukraine, and targeting the southern port city of Odesa for a second night in a row, Ukrainian officials said Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Russian emergency officials in Crimea said that over 2,200 people were evacuated from four villages because of a fire at a military facility. The fire also caused the closure of an important highway, according to Sergey Aksyonov, the Russia-appointed head of the region, which was annexed in 2014.
He did not specific a cause for the fire at the facility in Kirovsky district, which came two days after an attack on a bridge linking Russia to the peninsula that the Kremlin has blamed on Ukraine.

Hmmmm??? I could have sworn Ruzzia was in economic ruins, their antique army depleted, Putin hiding in a Siberian bunker and all their missiles and drones were used up. And, that the Uke offensive would have swept into Moscow by now to liberate it for the WEF and other global interests.
So this report of missiles and drones has got to be propaganda as well as other reports of a Russian troop strength of 100,000 massing on their border must be a lies. (all said in sarcasm)
Seriously, with Russia ramping up the war it makes one wonder just what will the NATO crowd do about it? Cluster bombs fired by artillery is not the answer. Giving the Ukes more modern military equipment is not the answer. Giving the Ukes more money certainly will not stop the Russians this late in the game, for the money needs to be spent on weapons, recruitment and training - not on some laundromat operation.
It’s either end the war and accept losses or go nuke.

Clusters are a perfect stopgap measure while the Wests production of 155 artillery shells ramps up, and within a year surpasses russia's. Pilots are being trained to fly F16's.

I watched a You Tube video on Monday describing the Guideran assault on Moscow in 1942. He commanded two or three armies on the German southern flank.
The Russians lost heavily to the superior and determined German armored assault.
What was interesting was the Russian defenses thrown up well to the rear of the oncoming assault line. They dug miles of trenches in successive parallel rows. The trench defense was constructed in depth.
When you compare the map of the Russian defense lines in front of Moscow in 1942 with the Current, 2023, trench lines shown on maps in defended areas of occupied Ukraine, guess what.?
To fight in Occupied Ukraine, the Russian general staff turned to the play book of 1942 and duplicated it again, now. Once again, the Russian army is unable to defend against a capable and determines agressor and has dug lines of trenches.
In 1942, the Germans doubly enveloped and trapped the millions of Russians in their holes in the ground whre they surrendered
December and snow ended the German attack on Moscow
So the lesson is the Germans defeated the Russians until they lost?
The story is BS, as is everything the Germans wrote on East Front.
All these heroic stories do not explain why the German and Soviet losses were nearly equal, not counting millions of Soviet PoWs they starved to death in camps. And since 1943 the situation bece loopsided in the Soviet favor.
