I’m glad the global sea rise will only take effect in sections of NYC.

“I thought those areas were to already be underwater by 2000? And then 2010? And then 2020?”
I’m old enough to remember when we were going to freeze to death by the late 1980’s.

NASA will have blocked out the sun by then and we will be able to walk across the land bridge to Russia, if its still there.

Hi heartwood,

I grew up, sorta, in Rutherford. The town was between the Passaic and Hackensack rivers. I don’t remember any problems in my area.
They did change the name of the “Jersey Swamps,” renaming it to the
“Meadowlands!” How sweet.

Where is your hometown?

Cheers,
Bat

The Connecticut River is flooded and the idiot Agriculture Commissioner of Connecticut said it is because of Climate Change. I have to email her that because of the flooding of the Connecticut River, cause us to have soil for family farms.

I need to ask when Hartford was flooded in 1935, if it was because of Global cooling, warming or something else.

Russia or China will gladly purchase Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, and the Hamptons.

I have ‘clam shells’ I personally picked up in 2001 just south of Fallon ,Nevada. Altitude about 4000’. I picked them off the ground near the site of an old Pony Express station, just east of US 95. There were quite a few of them.

Speaking as someone who has lived waterfront on the Chesapeake Bay since 1989, this is pure BS...

Not even a fraction of an inch, on average (and excluding normal tides and the temporary winter shrinkage of the bay due to cold weather), of change in level...

In 2003, hurricane Isabelle removed one of my docks and buried my lower level in 5-ft of water.
Subsequently, have had a couple of rotting pilings sticking out of the water, making very fine water gauges...

Nevada, US93, south of Ely. Forget how far.
Pillow lava right alongside the road. That only occurs underwater.
Approximately 4000’ elevation.

If sea levels are rising they would have started building seawalls around coastal cities like NYC decades ago due to the complexity.

They didn’t. So sea levels aren’t rising.

People are still buying beachfront property with the banks still loaning money on thirty year mortgages.
