The Left wants to institutionalize and fix in cement the notion that the USA was/is fundamentally racist, that black victimhood is the most important and untouchable of all political concerns, and that only through woke/marxist struggle was justice achieved.
Since Roe v. Wade legalized abortion in 1973, abortion has killed an estimated 20 million black babies — more than the entire black population of 1960.
They couldn’t get anyone to go see the movie so I guess they thought they could get them come see a so-called, “monument”.

Now don’t get me wrong. What happened to Till was really really bad. The guys that did it should have gone to prison.
But all these years have gone by and to the best of my knowledge, there’s never been an attempt to memorialize Till.
Why is it an issue now? Chances are, Biden has no f**ing clue he even signed an order to create a national monument. The others behind the curtain are pushing it to remind black voters of which political party is their friend - especially given there’s an election in 2024.
