I hope we can all agree the sooner this conflict is ended, the better. The neocon’s attempt to oust Putin using Ukraine has failed. Time to put this one into the history books and call it a night.

It's all the same fight against the same entities. Just like all the political and economic destruction we've been through the past few years is NOT just about diverting attention (and prosecution) away from the Biden crime family.
Joe is a political animal from way back and he may have the spite and the goods to bring the temple down with him, so to speak. If he sees his family business being busted and is facing jail, Joe may be reckless enough to start talking. So "they" may have decided to protect him at all costs until he can no longer communicate.
