House Speaker Kevin McCarthy's recent comments about opening an impeachment inquiry into President Biden were greeted with skepticism from Senate Republicans, including one who warned against following the lead of Democrats who "cheapened" the process under former President Trump.
"You'd have to have the argument," Senate Minority Whip John Thune, R-S.D., told reporters Tuesday. "It's a high threshold. I'd assume they'd have to have evidence and some process where they would at least get that evidence if they don't have it."
"Clearly the statements they're making would lead me to believe they have evidence. Or they think they have evidence that could reach that threshold of high crimes and misdemeanors," Thune added. "I'll say what I said before, and that is I think the best way to change the presidency is win the election… I think it's in our best interest to be making an argument for why we need to have the majority in the House, the Senate and the White House come Jan. 2025."

There is no comparison between the fake impeachment of Trump (instigated to cover up the crimes of the Bidens) and an impeachment of Biden based upon the evidence of corruption we have seen so far. The establishment is practically endorsing that corruption with their position. And this is just the evidence finally uncovered after the DOJ/FBI have worked endlessly to make sure was never seen by the public. What else is out there that we have no inkling of being hidden by Garland, Wray, et al? That is why an impeachment proceeding is warranted. And impeachment of both Joe Biden and Merrick Garland is necessary to preserve the honesty and legitimacy of our governing bodies.
One suspects that an impeachment might uncover the corruption of peripheral actors many of which have a (R) by their names.
Once again, we are reminded: There are now ONLY TWO parties.
1. The Patriot Party, and
2. The Treason Party
I would agree with one part of the premise, and that is that you shouldn’t impeach unless you can follow through with it, which includes the more difficult part of getting the censure and conviction in the senate.
What I don’t agree with is the idea of not investigating and pursuing Biden corruption hard in congress, because the shill DOJ/FBI wont do it.
This why Republicans lose.
Oh, I get it. Since they were just picking on Trump, obviously the RINOs are now just picking on Biden. It’s not like Biden did anything wrong to deserve it.
Failing to impeach Biden creates the effect of bolstering Trump’s “guilt” and Biden’s “innocence” by the contrast.
A Biden impeachment will put on the official record all of his real and egregious CRIMES. The accompanying investigations can dig deeper and find rats who will throw him under the bus. Then the Senate can reveal their utter lack of morals by failing to remove him.
But still well worth it.
Impeach Biden to return integrity to the impeachment process.

The reality is that the Dems hold the majority in the Senate and a result, no impeachment conviction will occur. Why waste the time and effort if you can’t get the win? Without comparing Trump or Biden, we must get past this recent phase of screaming impeachment for every president since Clinton.

For desribing Thune, I recommend “skeered”, not skeptical. He is pretrified that stnading up against a racketeering President might cost him votes.
Thune, Romney et al, they want us to believe they are of superior intelligence, feelings, logic, and the rest. They insist that it’s better to let the Dems kill us if it appears we are actually fighting back with the same weapons.

These Senators who are reluctant to impeach biden fear that Biden knows the details of the pervasive corruption in washington. They know if he goes down , he will take as many as he can with him. Always remember that the Pelosi,Romney and Kerry sons were part of Hunter Biden’s web in the Ukraine. Also note that McConnel, getting rich with his own China connections never says a bad word about Biden.
