Or, and call me crazy...tell the DOJ to drop any charges against Hunter, and press more charges against Trump.

don’t count on it. Even if he is mentally challenged he still like the good press, free ice cream and the occasional child that wanders across his path.

Unless I am mistaken, no President can pardon for unstated offenses. That would be more like selling an indulgence, as of old. The speculation is getting most interesting.

In a very fast manner, pass a constitutional amendment that prohibits a president’s power to pardon family members.

The Hunter-pardon-and-apology approach would appeal to the self-serving Biden
<><>to save his no-good cokehead son
<><>to justify Biden’s withdrawal from the election
<><> to simultaneously beatify himself as performing a selfless act.......something he rarely does.

Everyone in Washington would win — except, of course, we, the people:
<><>The Biden Crime Family riches from millions in influence-peddling profits continues;
<><>Hunter is clean——won’t even have to pay his full taxes;
<><>Congress, the MSM are forgiven for ignoring and burying reports of govt corruption.

That is what is called a “happy ending” in Washington.

Actually, the Demonrats were hoping for Biden to stay in and get the nomination, then quit because of personal ailments and then the DNC would pick gruesome Newsome to run. Sorry, Klamydia.

The Justice Department also would face pressure to seek the same long jail sentence given to Manafort; he was sentenced to 73 months of imprisonment, which included the statutory maximum 60 months for a conspiracy to violate FARA.

Interestingly, Turley forgets to mention that the time frame used to bring the charges and subsequent conviction of Manafort, was when he was working with the Podesta brothers, who were allowed to backdate their FARA paperwork and amend their taxes, IIRC.

And apparently, backdating FARA paperwork is pretty common. I guess it all depends on who you are and you’re working for.

He can pardon Hunter and then say he has to to do so because MAGA republicans are going after his innocent son on charges since they can’t beat him in a fair election (or something along those lines)

I fully expect the Democrats & Biden to simply brazen it out.
After all, they are very happy with him in the White House, following the instructions of???????? Obama? Naa through Obama. As long as he can be shot up and totter out a couple of times a month, everything will be OK. Reelected in a landslide.
I think the next step is to discredit Judge Noreika via their media arm and probably the Just-us dept. Somehow they find a way to have her removed from this case or impeached and thrown out of office. Then shop up a compliant judge who either accepts the plea deal of throws it all out.
Meanwhile, step up the investigations of President Trump. Somewhere in the land is a judge that will rule that Trump is disqualified from holding public office.
By the time the case gets to the Supreme Court, Trump will be well into his 80s. So it matters not what they rule.

Dan Bongino was talking about this very scenario on his podcast yesterday.

Biden pardons Hunter and drops out of the 2024 race.

He won’t withdraw.

He can’t.

Keeping his hands on the DOJ is his only concern to stay out of prison.................

Look at everything they have done right in our faces. I mean the people that are awakened or alert to what’s happening (not woke). The stole an election and stole what they wanted in the midterms. Lake was robbed and everyone knows it. Look at the other swing states, in lost of them if we lost it was likely because of cheating.

They have the media (what most see on the tv local or national news). There is no way biden got 81 million votes and most know that’s not real but like sheep people went a long with it. The media is the ultimate weapon. The social media was a real silver bullet for them but now things are changing a little with Musk. We will see when the election comes around..

Now they are making things up about Trump and are indicting him for crimes that the bidens are or have committed. When you have that kind of power you can do whatever you want. And biden knows this, he was vp and in this corrupt system for a long time. No matter how much of his mind is gone he knows how to work it.

The election was a push. Pushed us all saying “what are you going to do about it). Nothing… with the media lying and pushing their narratives over and over they reach everyone. Some actually start believing or accepting this. Once they got away with the steal they know they can do what they want and use the media to hide or drive what they want.

We need to make sure there is no drop boxes or mail out ballots. Once it gets to the counters they have it covered. Sorry lost track of the thread..

The Biden regime will stall Hunter’s trial until after the election, then pardon him.

By resigning and becoming a lame-duck president, Biden also would undermine congressional Republicans’ impeachment calls. And it would allow his own allies to declare the scandal over, with Biden taking responsibility by giving up a second term in office.

Turley is sloppy here.

First, he suggests that Biden pardon his son and then drop out of the race for 2024, not resign altogher.

Second, he would not be "giving up" a second term in office but a second term is not guaranteed. He can lose the election.

In my opinion, dropping out of the race is not good enough. If Biden wants to pardon his son for things Biden himself said adamantly that Hunter never did, then we deserve nothing short of actually stepping down as President afterwards.

Pardoning Hunter Biden would be an admission of guilt, and that guilt would extend to Joe himself. He could not, for the sake of the nation, remain in office after pardoning his son for the crime of extorting foreign leaders in Biden's name.

I would not be surprised if Judge Noreika had some kind of “accident” and had to hand the case to someone else. And, of course, the other Judge would ask a lot fewer questions and the Media would go into its Sgt Shultz routine.

In short, I think the fix happens regardless.
