Former Texas GOP Rep. Will Hurd was heckled by Iowa Republicans after he told the Lincoln Day Dinner, an important party fundraiser, that former President Donald Trump was seeking reelection because he was trying to "stay out of prison."
“Donald Trump is not running for president to make America great again. Donald Trump is not running for president to represent the people that voted for him in 2016 and 2020. Donald Trump is running to stay out of prison," Hurd said Friday during the Iowa Republican Party event in Des Moines.
Parts of the crowded ballroom erupted into boos, with several guests clanging their flatware and glasses with their silverware, one day after special counsel Jack Smith hit Trump with more charges in the federal classified documents case.
"Listen, I know the truth. The truth is hard. But if we elect Donald Trump, we are willingly giving Joe Biden four more years in the White House," he said. "America can't handle that."
Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, who immediately followed Hurd at the cattle call event, thanked the former congressman for making him look good in comparison.
"Thank you, Will. You just made it very easy for me," he quipped.

I think I read that Hurd was ex-CIA. It would explain a lot about his TDS if true.
The same people who are financing Christie’s campaign are probably financing Hurd’s. But at least there’s no pretense. He made it clear with that statement that he’s nothing but a soldier for the Establishment, in case anyone had doubts.

Don’t know. Not everyone in the CIA is bad, but there are groups within the CIA who wield power and who are hostile to the very idea of government by the people. I think part of the problem is that, as an intelligence gathering institution, they are very compartmentalized. That makes it easier to hid nefarious activities and provides the perfect environment to hide a network of subversives. This was understood at the very beginning, of the CIA’s inception. Globalists like Allen Dulles, the first civilian director of the CIA exploited the secrecy and cover it provided, in order to hide illegal activity, right from the start.
And of course, the corrupt elements are ever on the lookout for promising “new talent”. It doesn’t always require blackmail or brainwashing. There are plenty of people who can be induced with promises of greater wealth and power or who simply share the deep state’s elitist views.
And take that traitor Mike Pence with him.

My thoughts as well-I wonder what it costs to get a former representative to commit political suicide in front of that many important party members-it is likely he won’t be getting elected to any office after that...
