All absolutely true. You forgot the trash strewn about the streets. It's the kind of place you're glad you're just driving through and will be out of in a few minutes. It is overwhelmingly Hispanic. They even have a high school which caters to them, Pan American High School, in this neighborhood. In this area, 30% have less than a high school education, making for wonderful employment opportunities--not. There are a WHOLE lot of illegals living here, on the taxpayers' dime.
Along with Elmhurst, Flushing and part of Woodside- Corona was also the epicenter of the kung flu invasion in America. I used to call the area Wuhan West.
Eventually those people will be pushed out. What happened in Brooklyn, people who couldn’t afford to live in NY chitty moved to Brooklyn, pushed out a lot of lifetime residents and drove up real estate prices, has been happening in Queens. Astoria, LIC and moving east
