The Florida Board of Education became the first state education agency to approve the use of PragerU’s conservative curriculum in public schools, the organization confirmed to The Capitolist on Friday.
PragerU, a nonprofit organization, produces video, magazine, and book resources as an alternative to what they perceive as the dominant left-wing ideology prevalent in culture, media, and education. The group’s stated mission is to “provide a free alternative to the prevailing left-wing narratives in schools,” according to its website.
According to the group, the current education system “prioritizes pushing radical activism over imparting factual knowledge, leading to concerns about students’ academic performance.” To address these issues, PragerU has introduced PragerU Kids content, which they are now bringing to classrooms.
“In the past, teachers have been disciplined for showing our content in their classrooms so we are thrilled that Florida has become the first state to officially approve PragerU Kids as an optional resource that teachers can use in K-12 classrooms without fear of being reprimanded beginning this school year,” said Melissa Nystrom, a communications specialist for PragerU.
The decision comes as Florida implements new academic standards for Black history classes following the Stop W.O.K.E. Act, which restricts teachings about systemic racism and prohibits educators from suggesting that people are “privileged or oppressed” based solely on their race, national origin, or sex. Despite PragerU’s approval as an educational vendor in Florida, the organization is not accredited and does not offer degrees.
“The best part about our lessons is that parents will no longer be in the dark about what their kids are learning in schools since all of our resources are available on our website. More transparency for parents and more resources for teachers is a major win for children’s education,” Nystrom continued.

We do live in interesting times.
Remove me from your FL ping list.
Well, it should be. In fact, it should be the benchmark for any AMERCIAN accreditation and degree-giving. But we all know that privilege is for mostly reserved for the Leftist, DEI garbage known as higher education these days.
He's probably getting hammered from all around...behind the scenes.
Agree.
Done.
I seldom listen to Prager’s radio show. Now that I lost Dan Bongino he’s about it locally.
Problem: Does anyone else agree with me that Prager is obsessed with gender change and related topics? I vowed to turn off the show if his talk drifted again to that topic-—and it happened every single day.
Like his strong defense of the death penalty and his disdain for the Leftists ruining America, though.
Ever check out his PragerU videos?
Yes. Valuable information.
Prager U ping!
Ummmmm...I hate to mention this...you didn't
turn it off after the first time when it happened (no if)
and then you continued to listen...
every single day.
Have I got that right?
No. I took a few seconds to see what Prager was talking about (after Bongino the competing super station has insipid wishy washy semi leftists usually blabbing about local festivals and businesses).
I didn’t stay on it as soon as I heard the gender talk (usually 10 seconds). Didn’t finish the show or try again.
I probably neglect to try the Prager show 2-3 days a week.
Also, I estimate Glenn Beck will have a gross, disgusting word or image every one to three minutes.
Of the days I happened to try to listen (which do not constitute all the week days of the year) what I said was true.
Like “every day I tried to get a quick check out it was slowed by a long line” doesn’t mean I went 365 days, just many tries.
I have bought Prager’s book on happiness and one on the Ten commandments, plus have read around half of the content of his Bible commentaries so far (3 published on Genesis, Deuteronomy and Exodus). So he grabbed some money from me.
Ha.
I’ll move those goalposts until I win.😁
Until then, please have mercy on me for not (yet) achieving perfection.
Wow! Indeed!
Watch Florida students’ test scores skyrocket and universities who still value merit and a true education start seriously scouting for students from that state. That’s if companies do not beat them to the punch and hire employees straight from the high school’s in Florida with no college degree required.
Can you imagine a talent pool of students taught and excelling with such a curriculum? Companies across an entire spectrum of industries will be clamoring for such talent.
Perfection? Try simple honesty for a start, being flippant isn't working.
Oh, yeah...
I’ll move those goalposts until I win.
Never mind.
something about...the coverup is worse than the crime...
