Harvey C. Barnum Jr. is a great American hero. May the people who serve on the new destroyer Harvey C. Barnum Jr. be inspired by his courage, leadership, and unfailing patriotism.

Back when the government still allowed them to identify as “men.”

I would like to see the striping of all politicians’ names from naval warships unless they had served in the military with distinction.

Semper Fidelis, Marine Harvey C. Barnum. There is hope for no more idiotic named vessels... like the USNS Harvey Milk.

Brave man....well deserved honor.

What would our military “leaders” of today think when they see this picture of two MEN?-”toxic masculinity”, he, they, him, she...needs a shave and bloused uniform.
God Bless these two and all the others who sacrificed.

Thanks for posting that video. It figures that Johnson would refuse to put the Medal of Honor on Barnum at the White House, that’s the kind of things Democrats do.

It will be a CRUISER.
Like he did at the Gay Bars in college.

Its beautiful, and made in Maine by proud American workers. We should build many more ships in the USA.

I’m more concerned with the recent trend of naming things after people that are still alive. I remember when we didn’t do that in America, because we remembered there was a fine line between memorializing and idolizing.
And then Barack Obama came along.
