Melania Trump stylist gets $260K in campaign cash since start of 2022
The New York Post ^ | 08/01/2023 | Ryan King

Former President Donald Trump’s political action committee has paid the French-born stylist who designed Melania Trump’s inaugural ball gown more than $260,000 for “strategy consulting” since the start of last year, filings with the Federal Election Commission show.

Hervé Pierre Braillard was paid $108,000 by the Save America PAC during the first six months of 2023, receiving the money in increments of $18,000 each month, according to a half-year report filed with the FEC Monday night.

Braillard, who goes by Hervé Pierre professionally, also received $152,500 in 2022, broken down into eight monthly payments of $18,000 between May and December of that year — along with an initial $6,000 payment for April and a $2,500 “year-end bonus.” *** My role is to dress the First Lady and advise her – I’m not a stylist; I am an adviser, and she is adamant about that,” Braillard told Vogue in 2017.

*** Save America, which is primarily supported by small-dollar donations, began 2022 with a nine-figure war chest that has dwindled to fewer than $4 million in cash on hand as of the end of June, FEC data indicates.

Part of what kept the PAC in the black was a $12.25 million rebate from an initial $60 million transfer to Make America Great Again Inc., a PAC that’s also aligned with Trump’s 2024 bid.

Save America also dished out more than $21 million in the first six months of this year to foot the bill for legal advice for Donald Trump and some of his associates. ***

Yes, if we let Trump keep dragging us all to the left, to places where even the Obama’s felt were inappropriate, I’m sure fewer and fewer will care about what’s unseemly or not.

I don’t mention it often, hardly ever, but you’re an old timer here, and I figured it would help you understand. I was still supporting Trump when it happened, mostly.

Ok. I totally get it now. Flame away on Trump all you want. I'll leave you undisturbed. :^)

But when I then started doing some actual research, and found out he had actually tried to hire Bill Gates as the Chief Scientist of the White House, a light bulb started going off. Either this guy is compromised, or a boob.

He's a boob when it comes to hiring. No question.

Thanks Friend. I hope Trump is proven innocent, and if he becomes our nominee, that he wins the general election. I would vote for him then, as the alternative is unspeakable. But since we’re just in the start of the primary season, I really like where DeSantis is on the things we’ve been mentioning. He specifically calls out the WEF, and Davos, and by all indications he is adamantly opposed to their agenda. He’s even empaneled that grand jury at the Florida State Supreme Court to investigate the lies and dangers of the vaccines, which he also speaks about regularly.

He’s also specifically banned all gain of function research in the state of Florida, which no other state has done. Leadership, on what I see is the most important issue of the day, stopping the manmade creation of newly weaponized and transmittable diseases, and how to correctly deal with them when they inevitably escape, or are purposefully released. Otherwise it could be the easiest way to wipe us all out, overnight.

And since Trump still thinks his phony “vaccine” was the answer to the last problem like that, he still doesn’t have a clue. I have quotes of him admitting he placed all the orders for the vaccines before any of the trials were done. They even changed the definition of vaccine on his watch, to make it happen. The ventilators he championed killed countless too. And who would sign a bill that says they pay huge bonuses to the hospitals when people die, not when they’re saved? Never again, if I can help it. I’ll get off my soapbox now, and glad we came to terms. Always have, hopefully always will. Thanks.

Consider the source.

The source is found at the FEC. Specifically, the mandatory submissions by Trump political action committees.

Fair enough. I don’t disagree with much of what you write, except I view DeSantis with much more skepticism than you do.

I’ll specifically address what you wrote, that Trump doesn’t have a clue.

I completely agree with that. His domain, business, differs greatly from politics. He came into a new domain believing he could use his (well-established and proven) skill in the business domain, in the new domain of politics.

It didn’t work out well, obviously. In business, only results matter. He delivered results, in the economy, versus China, in Middle East peace, on our Southern border, on government overregulation.

But in politics, results do not matter. Deceiving the public and lying to one another is all that matters. Graft and corruption matter. Getting allies (who are criminally compromised) matter. Power to destroy, matters.

I’m not sure how Trump navigates that. Reagan managed, but barely, and in a far more civil age.

Trump had ZERO clue in 2016. He has a much better idea now, but it might be too late.

Trump "schemed" with the Democrats?

Maybe English isn't your first language.

verb

make plans, especially in a devious way or with intent to do something illegal or wrong.

Link: Trump sides with Democrats

"Donald Trump, who casts himself as a master negotiator, took the first offer Democrats put on the table."

"Republicans left the Oval Office Wednesday stunned. Trump had quickly sided with Democrats on a short-term debt ceiling increase, even overruling his own Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin to concur with “Chuck and Nancy,” as he later called them on Air Force One."

"But Trump defied more than his top aides. He turned on Republican leaders in Congress when he caved to Democrats’ demands to raise the debt limit and fund the government for three months, setting up a brutal year-end fiscal cliff."

Trump's biggest failure was conspiring with the Democrats to monetize trillions in debt with no debt ceiling in place, burying the middle class under the inflation it sparked.

Trump was a fiscal train wreck, and his only success was in initiating our withdrawal from Afghanistan. He couldn't get us out of Syria and only got our involvement in Africa deeper.

There is nothing in my posting history to support your lie that I support the neocons. Only the opposite, if you'd bother to look.

There is nothing in my posting history, going back to the invasion of Iraq, to support your lies.

If there was you could quote it.

Sounds anti-Trump to me.

We already KNOW you're a neocon.

That was your ACTUAL post.

Yes, all of it true, because that's what ACTUALLY happened. Are you this ignorant of current events? Were you in a coma during the Trump presidency?

Trump conspired with Schumer and Pelosi and eliminate the debt ceiling, stunning Republican leadership who he cut out of the negotiations.

Here's ya boy:

“I’m the king of debt. I’m great with debt. Nobody knows debt better than me,” Trump told Norah O’Donnell in an interview that aired on “CBS This Morning.”

His policy of monetizing Federal debt to boost consumer spending is what stoked the inflation we've been enjoying ever since.

But even that wasn't enough for him! To his own bitter end he was demanding even bigger deficits and give aways:

Trump calls Covid relief bill unsuitable and demands Congress add bigger stimulus payments

Good on Trump for calling the neocons' wars "stupid" and highlighting they don't serve the interests of the average American, but he was a fiscal train wreck the likes of which we haven't seen since FDR's big spending boondoggles.

You've both denied posting that, and admitted posting that.

Is there a third position you can take on your own post?

Melania deserves every bit of it. At least she doesn’t run around with the likes of Cindy McCain and wear prom queen gloves on election night.
