Here’s What Devon Archer Told Congress About Joe Biden… and It’s Damning
PJ Media ^ | 08/03/2023 | Matt Margolis

It seems like it was only Monday that Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) told the entire country Devon Archer testified that Joe Biden merely exchanged pleasantries with Hunter Biden’s foreign business partners. According to Goldman, Joe Biden merely spoke of the weather and didn’t even know who he was talking to during the more than twenty times he participated in their meetings.

Without a transcript of the testimony, Goldman could claim anything, no matter how absurd, and the media would echo those claims — which they did. Even the White House attempted to laugh off the testimony as a nothingburger.

“It appears that the House Republicans’ own much-hyped witness today testified that he never heard of President Biden discussing business with his son or his son’s associates, or doing anything wrong,” White House spokesperson Ian Sams told Fox News Digital. “House Republicans keep promising bombshell evidence to support their ridiculous attacks against the President, but time after time, they keep failing to produce any.”

But Fox News Digital has obtained the transcript of Archer’s testimony, and there’s really no way to spin it as anything but damning.

According to the transcript, Archer testified that Hunter Biden used his “very powerful name” to “add value” in pitching and securing foreign business ventures. But Hunter was sly about it: he wouldn’t “overtly” say that he’d use his dad as leverage.

“Defensive leverage that the value is there in his work,” Archer explained. “The value that Hunter Biden brought to it was having—you know, there was—the theoretical was corporate governance, but obviously, given the brand, that was a large part of the value,” Archer continued. “I don’t think it was the sole value, but I do think that was a key component of the value.”

In fairness, Archer has a point. Every major company engaged in any form of international commerce needs a few whore chasing crackheads involved in corporate governance. I'm sure Hunter can fill that niche for a lot of companies.

There is no “Biden Brand” without his public office. Joe Biden never achieved anything productive. He was just a grifter living high on his elective office.

All of this exposes how Washington DC produces nothing of intrinsic value. It produces only corruption and bribery, using taxpayer money stolen from Americans who ARE productive.

FTA——On Monday, Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) told the entire country Devon Archer testified that Joe Biden “merely exchanged pleasantries” with Hunter Biden’s foreign business partners. According to Goldman, “Joe Biden merely spoke of the weather” and didn’t even KNOW who he was talking to during the more than twenty times Joe participated in Hunter’s meetings w/ foreign dealmakers needing a favor.

Not so well known, is that Hunter doesnt make a move
without Democrat Dan Goldman being appraised of every detail.

Hunter calls Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) “to tell Dan
when he places his father, then VP Joe Biden, on a speakerphone”
while dining with foreign business associates about lucrative deals in the offing.

Hunter told Dan he and the foreigners talk about the
“inclement weather” and about “Jill Biden’s latest fashion faux pas.”

It was interesting to hear the description of their business model, even though Archer admitted it sounds hokey as hell and couldn’t say it with a straight face. The official “elevator pitch” was that they could facilitate companies in dealing with the US regulatory agencies. It’s BS but at least has more plausibility than saying Hunter et al knew anything about the oil and gas bidness. What they sold was access but couched in terms of consulting on regulatory issues.

I’m sure they all got roundly smashed on some very good whisky the night they came up with this!

Waits patiently for the MSM to cover the testimony in a way other than to state something akin to “Convicted felon spends day lying to congressional committee”.

Archer testified that Hunter Biden brought value
to their ‘brand’ of connected corporate governance.

It seems to be true that whenever Hunter Biden put his father Joe Biden on his iPhone’s speakerphone during these 20 or so instances, he and his father were exchanging pleasantries. Now, it’s true that whatever bigwigs Hunter was meeting with or eating dinner with at the time were expected to basically cease whatever other things they were saying at the time and pay attention to the fact that Hunter was blatantly “flexing”—distinguishing himself from other minor league influence peddlers whose dad was NOT the Vice President of the United States. But the fact remains that nothing other than pleasantries were exchanged during these ostentatious speakerphone-broadcast conversations.

Talk about the weather? Last time I tuned into the Weather Channel I remember having to set up twenty or so LLCs for my relatives so that millions of dollars could be run through them to make it difficult for the IRS and police to track.

And there is the ballgame folks. I would say that it is a shame the GOP held the hearing behind closed doors. This exact scenario of “spin and move on” was predictable. But really, at this point, can you honestly say the GOP didn’t count on this happening.
