Our ‘democracy’ has been ever changing since Columbus
sailed the ocean blue in 1492.
After settling in the newcomers began to make changes
...The new comers went to Africa and brought in those
natives to do the grunt labor, clean/cook/wash the
clothes/tend the children, etc.
...In the 1860s there was a civil war to grant them
freedom from slavery.
