Nope. He was completely condescending in his remarks. He has yet to even put forth some simple questions like:
Why, if we are the good guys, essentially lie about Trump and Russia, and never call out the Intelligence Services and Media that hindered his Presidency and ruined good people over a lie? Why did we turn our back on illegal government spying of political candidates?
Why if we are the good and smart people have we not questioned if the process that started before Trump was inaugurated has never actually stopped, and what have we the smart people done to ensure it doesn’t?
I (Trump hating reporter) believe Trump is a monster because of Trumps reactions to the above, or because I believed the lies, or because I believe that those actions are justified against any candidate I don’t agree with? Which one or all three?
Why did “smart educated reporter” support a candidate that used his position to sell his country and people out to foreign powers for money, yet hate Trump more, when it was lies that these same people peddled- Biden and DNC?
When the”smart people” start addressing those fundamental questions, then I will go with self reflection. Otherwise it’s just an attempt to explain why the “stupid people” don’t see it correctly—ie the elites way.
2 Re what is Brooks going to do about his admission. Go on The Apology Tour, as in cave-in, apologize for telling the truth, and get down on his knees, begging to keep his job.
