The pathetic thing about Brooks is he thinks the “Educated” are all liberals. Elon Musk went to MIT. My guess is that while 90% of the faculty at Ivy schools are leftists, maybe 60% of the graduates are. And in my experience the leftists are struggling poor wanna-be writers, beat poets, some already dead of overdoses even though they went to St. Paul’s and Williams. The VC guys and investment bankers would vote for Trump because they know what it takes to actually build something instead of tear it down like get-out-of-jail freaks in SF NYC and Larry Krasner’s Pilly nightmare. Brooks is in a bubble and can’t even see it. The Trump supporter is not going to waste time reading “white fragility”. They end up with more money and a better life by not sucking up to David Brooks.
