Ditto. I used to have a safebox there; but got a letter one time which included something to this effect: do not keep valuables in your safebox. We reserve the right to open and inspect the contents at any time, for any reason, or for no reason." Turned in my keys w/ a big "no thanks."
Then, years later, when I saw what the gov't and banks did to the Canadian truckers, I drained the account down to just what I need, like you, to pay bills and the minimums on deposit to avoid all fees. I tell anyone who asks, "Keep in banks only an amount you can afford to lose."
