Homelessness Has ‘exploded’ in this California City, Making it the ‘Land of Milk and Fentanyl,’ Activist Says

Oakland has created an 'unlivable' situation for residents as homeless population explodes, activist says

Open-air drug markets, narcotic tourism, rampant theft and lax camping regulation have made Oakland "unlivable," a neighborhood advocate told Fox News.

"Oakland and San Francisco have become the promised land of milk and fentanyl, and people are coming here," Seneca Scott, founder of Neighbors Together Oakland, told Fox News. "People who are homeless in Oakland now typically are not from here. They're drug tourists."

Recently, people have been flocking to "Fentanyl Island" a patch of land between 7th St. and Brush St. in West Oakland which Scott describes as an open-air drug market that is home to dozens of burned-out vehicles. "They're coming here for the safe and easy access to their drug of choice and the ability to also steal to support those habits, because there's no rule of law."

At this point, it will be the Chinese or the mob to clean up California....Both groups are very good at that.....

There are (or at least were) some REALLY NICE AREAS in Oakland. But as I did and I tell others, this country is now Bosnia at the end of the Cold War. It’s time for people to pick a side and get with the people on that side. If you live in a city and don’t want to be the victim of crime, or be punished for defending yourself, then GET OUT before that crap happens...because the Left is psychotic and it’s going to get worse, far worse.

There are some really super expensive areas of Oakland.

A lot of the crime is concentrated in a few areas.

Agree. I kind of ended my posting early. People in those nice areas are living on borrowed time...at some point, the political benefit in protecting them will be overridden by the political benefit in allowing open-season on them. Very similar to the White farmers in South Africa, and Zimbabwe before that. OBVIOUSLY the rational thing to do there is to let them do their farming and feed the country (and more)...but eventually the political pressure gets to be too much for the ANC or whoever is in power, and then open-season. So it’s always best to be a step ahead of them. The smart ones moved out of South Africa as they saw what was coming, the not-so-smart ones stayed and hoped, and most are now trapped there.

We read, yesterday, that the Chinese had an illegal bio-weapons lab in Fresno County, They found it in March but the news just broke in July when they cleaned it up.s The press wasn’t interested enough to tell us about it. Maybe they are trying to reduce the homeless population for us.

Right, I was working in that area just six, seven years ago. The Lake Merritt area was cool and a co-worker and his wife lived in a very nice high-rise in Oakland. I attended a couple of parties there.

I left in early 2017 and I hear it’s really gone down the tubes now.

I worked just south of Oakland in San Leandro and lived in Hayward. I wonder if those areas have become third-world leftist armpits as well?

We, in Las Vegas, welcome the Raiders and the Athletics (if approved by the MBL), but Nevada has a long way to go to become a RED state. If ever.

A lot of things about the ‘found lab’ story were never laid out....like how it was funded. I suspect that the Facui-crowd thought in this case...they were funding/paying for a lab in the heart of China.

What’s not to like? Sounds like Dem run urban areas all over the place. I guess some people just can be satisfied with the good life.

That's not why Biden is President. The vote was stolen, as it was in other areas. For example, I think Newsom is not a legitimate governor based on votes, and that he actually was defeated by the recall effort. But now it only matters who COUNTS the votes...

Ironically, this is just about four blocks west of the County Sheriff’s Office.

The Kalifornia Homeless Industrial Complex does not receive just ‘their 10%’ of the millions funneled to ‘help’ the homeless. The Homeless Industrial Complex promotes more and more $$$ that makes Kalifornia the magnet for the homeless.
