It’s the equivalent of a declaration of war against civilization, Christians, and the Creator.
read all about this stuff in a book once. if I recall it was somewhere near the end. oh yeah...there was something about taking heart and not worrying too!
Incite them to ... what, exactly?
Sternly-worded letters?
Moaning in their echo chamber on social media?
Cowering in their homes like they compliantly did during COVID?
Plainly, if you think ANYBODY on the rightward end of the political spectrum — least of all Christians — are capable of being incited to anything newsworthy, you’ve been living under a rock for a few decades.
Most “christians” are too wound up about “what those other apostates who call themselves ‘christian’ are teaching” to give a rotten FIG for the reality that their religious freedom is about to be eaten right out from under them. They hate Joel Osteen too much to see the evidence that John The Revelator has been crowing about for 2000 years.
OR maybe it’s Hillsong they’ve got their knickers in a wad over.
OR maybe it’s Bethel.
OR maybe its The Catholics.
OR they hate the music, and are pining for good ol’ piano and organ.
OR they’re butthurt ‘cuz there’s not a choir they can be a privileged part of.
OR they dismiss Revelation as an indissoluble allegory.
OR they’ve traded Jesus for Scofield and think they don’t REALLY NEED to care ‘cuz they’re gonna go “whoosh” any little minute, now, and leave all this wreckage, and the wrecked people lost in it, behind.
AND if they DON’T get their fingernail and hairstyle-saving “whoosh” moment...?
I suppose THEN they WILL be incited, and Jesus will get a sternly-worded letter, won’t he.
A million-and-one petty things for pissy people to distract themselves with, and all the while... tick-tock...
