The majority of Americans will not be white by 2045, according to data that highlights the US' increasingly diverse population.
An analysis of census data by the think-tank Brookings Institution estimates that white people will comprise less than 50 percent of the US population for the first time in history in little over two decades.
The majority of the population will be made up of minority ethnicities: 24.6 percent for Hispanics, 13.1 percent for blacks, 7.9 percent for Asians, and 3.8 percent for multiracial populations, the analysis claims.
Immigration and an increase in interracial couples are fueling the shift in a new era of so-called majority-minority population.
Some experts have refuted those conclusions though, due to concerns about who the government counts as 'white'.
The population of white Americans is growing older as the predominantly-white generation of Baby Boomers, people who were born in the mid-1940s to the 1960s, ages. The latest census data shows the older population has climbed to nearly 56 million, up from 40 million a decade before.
This generation is about three-quarters white, which has meant that the white-majority population was the oldest of all racial groups per the 2020 census.
Additionally, the 65 and older age group is growing more rapidly than any other, and is the only age group whose white population is expected to grow between now and 2045 and beyond, according to analyses from the Brookings Institution.
Following the Baby Boomers, non-white people accounted for the greatest population growth and drastically drove up birth rates in the US

The white population is very effective at limiting the number of children born. When marriage partners determine they have enough children, dad take a trip to Dr. Snip.
Everyone forgets the white college educated suburban female voter subclass, which like the AA and Hispanic people sub classes of Americans, are convinced by the education system that European descended Americans are racist, homophobic, xenophobic, and deplorable things who are evil and want to take from and kill other sub classes. wahhhh wahhhh.

The peak we should have been worried about is Peak Caucasian, which occurred in the Divided States in the year 2016, the same year white people were barely able to elect Trump.
The root cause of Peak Caucasian was the Socialist Security System. Instead of traditional multi-generational families working as teams, 18-years-olds have been freed from financially supporting their retired elders, and in trade have been enslaved to financially support big government. No longer do parents have any financial return on investment for breeding smart children and raising them to their full potential. These days, many parents raise human pets instead. That's much more fun, and socialism incentivizes it.
In the 1870s they says 50% of all Californians would be Chinese by 1901. Numbers are just estimates. It MIGHT happen and then again , it might not. Many factors may well come into play. Lots of Europeans may well move in, or a pill invented that will turn people white? Or American will fall and not be such a good place to live.

Texas has always been multiple ethnic.
The number of marriages across the Anglo / Hispanic bridge is very large.
It is a common practice in South Texas and more common in NM for a family to be married across the border. Wife owning property in MX and husband in US. (or the other way around)
There is no issue with that for me. (I’m mixture Scot/Irish, German, Swede)
There were both Tajano’s and Anglo’s at the Alamo and at San Jacinto. It has always been so.
