When I was making regular trips there back when, the ‘attendants’ market of employees were nearly all Indians.
Some of the Indians are students working for “uncles” (because I don’t believe they’re really allowed to work legally), and the merchant caste that sells gas and convenience store stuff can’t work on cars - so they often rent out the bays (and you’ll see another sign over that area). Some just convert the bays to a convenience store; few seem to have working bathrooms...
that’s true. At least they are working and never ask them for directions!
