Most Americans in a new poll said they would take candidates’ abortion policies into consideration before voting them into public office.
The new CNN poll released on Tuesday found that 55 percent of U.S. adults would consider a candidate’s position on abortion as one of several important factors when voting, while 29 percent said they would only vote for a candidate who shares their views on abortion.
Another 16 percent said they do not see abortion as a major issue that would affect how they cast their ballot, according to the poll.
The survey also found that Americans hold largely the same views on the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade as they did shortly after the ruling came down last June.

I never dreamed we had so many baby killers here in this country. I guess those 60s hippies were right. We’re a bunch of baby killers.
The pro life increment is OURS
Single-issue pro-life voters have for decades and decades outnumbered single-issue pro-abortion voters. This pro-life “increment” –the advantage a candidate enjoys because he defends life–has proven decisive over and over and over again in close races.
“And we have a recent and very telling example.
“In Virginia’s elections, for example, 8 percent of voters told pollsters that their top issue was abortion,” Scherer wrote. “Of that group, nearly 6 in 10 voted for Republican gubernatorial nominee Glenn Youngkin, who supported more abortion restrictions in the state, even though the Democratic nominee, former governor Terry McAuliffe, tried to make his support for abortion a major issue in the race.”
Among those who consider abortion a major issue, those who are pro life overall benefit from being so. We deliver more single issue votes.

The Hill trying to make the election about abortion
In my opinion this is a projection.
I’m damn straight more worried about my next meal disappear ing than I am about abortion
No reason to vote for a murderer
Duh
In skimming the article it doesn’t appear that being Pro-Life is enough to keep a Republican out of the White House. And yet in a close election it seems babykilling might slightly help the Democrats. Paganism and evil doing have become so deeply rooted since the 60s. I fear what God may have to permit to get the prideful, humbly back on their knees. And yet 9-11, the 08 recession, and COVID didn’t seem to bring people back to their senses. But He’s about the Salvation of souls, not necessarily nations.
watch the special election in OHIO tonight...gonna be very revealing.
Works both ways, though. If you like killing babies, I am not voting for you.
Obviously
They’ve been telling us this for years.
so.what.?
So according to that same poll, 64% of those questioned are too ignorant to vote since the Constitution only affirms the inalienable rights from our Creator to the government, and killing babies isn't one of them.
More swHill...
Trump recently paraphrased Clinton’s “Safe, Legal, & Rare” position on abortion.
We need to talk about what "abortion" really is first. Then the issue can be honestly debated.
Should a woman be able to have her baby killed at some point during her pregnancy?
Can she have her baby killed if she was a victim of rape, or incest, or if her life is in danger?
And all of these circumstances need to include adoption as an option, for someone who doesn't want to, or can not afford to, (or for whatever reason), raise their baby.
If abortion is talked about as killing the baby, it is clear why many people object to it, and why some taxpayers do not want to be forced to pay for it.
Personally, I'm a woman, and IMO-It would be better if a woman being able to kill her baby, becomes something that is safe but rare.
In any case, it needs to be talked about honestly, and in context i.e. there is a difference between a taking a pill, or a first trimester abortion, and a third trimester one, or even murdering a new born baby up to 28 days after birth (California wants this to be legal 😱).
Hopefully voters will figure out that Roe V Wade's ending means the states can decide what they want to have legal.
Now to be fair, I take a person’s stance on abortion into account...if they are for it, I do not vote for them.
[of course, if they are for abortion, that usually means they are a dumble and Adder don’ vote no dumbles, no]
Indeed. The stench of our sin has reached the nose of God Almighty Himself!
