The one that really gripes my ass is the naval ship USS Harvey Milk. Naming a United States ship after a pedophile queer is just too damned much.
I’m a vet but not a Navy vet, I have deep respect for all 5 branches and no one can ever validly accuse me of denigrating any of them.
If they absolutely had to pick a gay Navy veteran to name a ship after, they could've gone with Rock Hudson. He at least served honorably.
